I read that there are four new gymnasts in the russia group :
Anna Gavrilenko, Lina Gnirov, Darja Schkurichin a Natalia Zujev
(sorry I´m not sure about the writting of the surnames). The two girls who got the medals at the OG Athens and remain in the group are Olesja Belugin a Jelena Posevin.
The new group will introduce herself this week in Thias!!

??? What about the other girls from last year, like Olesya Biyk? Have they retired? Or are they out of the team??? _________________ ANYA WORLD CHAMPION!!!

100% Posevina, Aliychuk retire. Gavrilenko wait operation. In doubt Gorbunova. |

I hope whichever group it is that Pichuzhkina will at least get a chance to be in it...Malygina too. Natasha's worked so hard and I remember in a past interview she said she wanted to go to the Olympics and how it was her ultimate dream. If she's not in the group I don't think she'd have much of a chance...unless they started training her extra as an individual (her body has changed now and she's more capable of it but I doubt that invest that kind of time what with how many other gymnasts Russia already has...) |
